As the global energy transition accelerates, hydrogen is emerging as a zero-emission, high-efficiency energy source and a core solution for the future. It offers pathways to reduce carbon emissions and drive innovation in transportation, industry, and energy storage. The forum, themed “The Rise of Global Hydrogen: Leveraging International Experience to Lead Future Energy Innovation,” brings together experts from policy, industry, and academia to share breakthroughs in fuel cells, storage and transportation technologies, and successful international experiences. Participants will also explore hydrogen’s integration with renewable energy to advance sustainable development. The global energy transition is now an irreversible trend, and offshore wind power, as a cornerstone of green energy development, is driving countries toward net-zero emissions and energy independence. Taiwan, with its favorable wind conditions, strong policy support, and robust industrial potential, has become one of the most promising offshore wind markets in the Asia-Pacific region. Facing intensified international competition, rapid technological advancement, and the need to upgrade its local supply chain, Taiwan must strengthen its competitiveness and attract global investment.
