The council consist of industry and academic partners to transform healthcare by bridging the gap between the life sciences and engineering.

Membership
SEMI members will have the opportunity to contribute corporate assignees to the initiative in support of SMART MedTech while developing skills as they gain a broader perspective of the MedTech industry.
- Human resources to execute on objectives and deliverables
- Symposia, spotlight events and education prioritized by GC members
- Advocacy actions critical to the GC objectives
- Participation in GC meeting virtually or in-person, where applicable
- Provide thought leadership and strategic guidance
- Define problem statements and prioritize those that are best addressed collectively by this team
- Provide oversight and guidance for global task force team execution
- Be an ambassador for the SMART MedTech initiative and promote awareness of the impact digital
and microelectronic technology has on the future of medicine.
