- The SEMI MSIG Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) R&D program develops next-generation technologies to ensure accurate positioning and timing when GPS is unavailable. Running from 2022–2027 under a $25M contract, it funds 39 projects with 44 awardees to advance resilient solutions for defense, transportation, and emerging technologies. SEMI manages coordination across the industry. Only U.S.-based companies are eligible for participation.
