BRUSSELS, Belgium – June 3, 2025 – The European Chips Diversity Alliance (ECDA), a European Union-funded initiative coordinated by SEMI Europe, will proudly participate in the Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit 2025—Europe’s largest conference and career fair for women in technology. Taking place on June 4–5 at EXPO XXI in Warsaw, Poland, the summit will convene over 10,000 participants, 500 speakers, and 105 top tech companies to explore the future of innovation, talent, and workforce inclusivity.
Representing ECDA and the wider semiconductor ecosystem, Victoria Cummings, Senior Manager for Workforce Development & EU Projects at SEMI Europe, will deliver a keynote address highlighting the sector’s commitment to inclusive talent strategies and the skills needed to drive European competitiveness.
“European Commission-funded initiatives such as the European Chips Diversity Alliance and the European Chips Skills Academy, along with SEMI Europe programs like ChipQuest and 20Under30, are critical to addressing the talent gap and shaping Europe’s semiconductor skills strategy,” said Laith Altimime, President of SEMI Europe. “These efforts reinforce the urgent need to expand access to education and career opportunities across the sector.”

Since joining SEMI Europe in 2023, Cummings has spearheaded several EU-funded initiatives aimed at equipping the next generation of professionals with the skills needed to thrive in the microelectronics sector.

At the summit, ECDA will engage with professionals and external stakeholders to raise awareness of the initiative’s ongoing projects, including training programs, partnerships, and opportunities for collaboration.
