MISSION
The SEMI Sustainability Initiative platform accelerates climate solutions and the reduction of the industry's carbon footprint through collaboration, communications, alignment and standards.
Our Sustainability Initiative Approach
SEMI members represent every sector of the microelectronics ecosystem, and the Initiative brings them together to find unique solutions to common issues while seeking the balance between People, Planet and Profits.
The Initiative includes multiple Working Groups with distinct charters. Each one is led by major companies in our industry that are working diligently to develop solutions to alleviate various aspects of today's toughest ESG challenges.
SEMI Sustainability Forum
All SEMI members are welcome to join the SEMI Sustainability Forum (SSF), a briefing held once a month for 90 minutes, switching between EMEA- and APAC- friendly timing, the Forum rotates its focus between Energy Health & Safety, Environment Social Governance, and Emissions Reduction topics. The Forum also provides members the opportunity to hear what the SEMI Sustainability Initiative is currently working on and how members might get involved. To be invited to the SSF, merely register for the SEMI Sustainability Initiative.
