As President of SEMI Korea, Hyun Cha oversees the organization’s operations and leads the development of its programs, committees, products, and services in the region. She is responsible for fostering strong relationships with SEMI members, as well as key stakeholders in industry, government, and academia. Additionally, she supports SEMI members worldwide who have interests in SEMICON Korea, one of the premier microelectronics industry events.
With over 28 years of experience at SEMI Korea, Hyun Cha has played a pivotal role in expanding SEMICON Korea, driving strategic initiatives, and strengthening collaboration across the semiconductor ecosystem. Her expertise spans expositions, technical programs, marketing, standards, workforce development, and government relations. Under her leadership, SEMI Korea has enhanced its role as an industry catalyst, supporting innovation and advancing global semiconductor standards.
Hyun Cha holds a master’s degree from the Graduate School of Public Administration at Yonsei University, Seoul.
