A SEMI Smart Manufacturing Hosted Webinar

SEMI’s 2nd annual webinar on Smart Manufacturing continues on Establishing the Foundation for Smart Manufacturing. It was organized to be both informative, based on pressing critical topics derived from key players across the supply chain, and interactive, including an open panel session of industry experts to discuss topics such as: self-assessments, MES, fault detection, big data, automation and connectivity from a microelectronics fab, OSAT and EMS perspective.

SEMI will present a summary of its past, present and future stakeholder identified activities aligned to Industry 4.0 key initiatives, emerging roadmaps and standards. In specific, guest speakers will provide insight into best practices for vendor data sharing policies, maximizing overall equipment efficiencies, while also addressing the leveraging of digital twins, data architectures, machine learning, and artificial intelligence for automated operational decision-making and control in factories.

This webinar will highlight critical topics that will be further discussed at SEMICON West and at the SEMI Smart Manufacturing Workshop to be held in September.

United States Register Blockchain and manufacturing Business Executive Technical

Digital transformation is continuing to change the way we look at building applications. For years, enterprises have been attempting to streamline manufacturing functions and the associated supply chain by building marketplaces, “standardized” exchange formats, and monolithic systems. However, in many cases, these solutions have missed the mark, and resulted in processes that are fragmented, brittle, and unable to share data seamlessly.

Blockchain, the underlying technology behind Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency platforms, can potentially address many of these issues. The ability to share information via a shared, trusted distributed network with embedded business logic has many potential benefits for the manufacturing industry, especially when combined with techniques from the IoT and AI communities. Join this webinar to hear about enterprise blockchains, associated manufacturing use cases, and several items (including myths) that must be considered for a successful blockchain enterprise implementation.

ISS 2026—Momentum Toward $1T: Charting Challenges, Embracing Disruptions, and Realizing New Opportunities

The semiconductor industry is on a powerful trajectory toward a $1 trillion market, driven by soaring global demand, breakthrough innovation, and record-setting investment. We stand at a generational inflection point—where digital transformation, national priorities, and emerging technologies converge to redefine the role of semiconductors in the global economy. From AI and electric vehicles to next-gen computing and connectivity, chips are powering the future, and the pace of change is only accelerating.

Now is an exceptional moment to be part of this industry. As governments recognize semiconductors as strategic infrastructure and supply chains undergo dramatic realignment, new players, partnerships, and possibilities are reshaping the landscape in real time. Advancements in chip design, materials, packaging, and manufacturing—especially in response to AI-driven workloads—are opening new frontiers in performance, efficiency, and scale.

This year’s theme calls on industry leaders, innovators, policymakers, and investors to assess where we are, confront the challenges ahead—talent shortages, capacity constraints, geopolitical tensions, and sustainability; embrace the disruptions reshaping the market—from chiplet architectures to AI-driven design, from vertical integration to edge innovation and define the strategies and opportunities that will propel us forward.

ISS will explore the current pace of growth, the disruptions driving change, and the strategic decisions required to realize the $1T vision. Join us as we chart a bold path for the semiconductor industry—where speed, scale, and strategy align to shape the future!
