Chris has an engineering degree from Germany and over 30 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. For 15 years he was engaged in various engineering and management positions in start-up R&D and pilot lines at Siemens (Munich), IBM (New York), International Sematech (Austin, Texas), and Infineon in San Jose, California.
Since 2002, he has served as director of market research and analysis for semiconductor industry first for Strategic Marketing Associates, and since 2007 for SEMI. He is the senior principal in the industry research & statistics group at SEMI in Milpitas California.
