A monthly report that offers global equipment billings for each market region (North American, Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Europe, China and Rest of the World) and 22 equipment categories. Delivered six weeks after the close of each month.
Total Semiconductor Equipment Forecast- An OEM Perspective
A bi-annual report that summarizes equipment forecasts by region and major equipment segment. This report also includes consensus opinions on key business trends relevant to the equipment industry. Forecasts are delivered in August and January each year.
This forecast is based on inputs directly from front-end and back-end original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), where we take year-to-date data and correlate it with equipment manufacturers' outlooks and use the quarterly World Fab Forecast to guide the "Wafer Processing Equipment" portion of the forecast.
The EMDS report is developed using a rigorous combination of primary and secondary market research approaches. SEMI collects direct input from a global network of equipment suppliers through SEMI proprietary industry data collection programs.
