The STSP recruits major industries, including the IC, optoelectronics, precision machinery, telecommunications, computer peripherals, biotechnology, and so on.
In order to spread the existing industrial clustering effect of STSP and drive regional development, STSP subsequently expanded the third phase of Tainan Science Park, and establish new science parks in Ciaotou, Nanzih, Pingtung and Chiayi , so as to perfect the construction of Southern Taiwan Hi-tech Corridor and strengthen the regional economic resilience.
