Over the course of my seven-year tenure as President and CEO of SEMI, we have worked to build the premier platform for global semiconductor industry collaboration to address its shared opportunities and challenges.

Invest in Pomerania initiatives, coordinated by the Pomeranian Development Agency, are key in representing the interests of Pomeranian Voivodeship, focusing on promoting the region’s technological prowess to the global semiconductor market.

The Semiconductor Climate Consortium has released its first alignment document with recommendations for calculating Scope 3 Category 1 (Purchased Goods and Services) – a substantial portion of Scope 3 emissions for most companies.

The ITF towards NETZERO conference, powered by imec, at SEMICON Europa delved into the urgent changes required within the rapidly expanding semiconductor industry to prevent further exacerbation of the precarious state of the world’s climate.

With product/die the focus in the test environment, SEMI is developing a suite of standards for the test industry built upon SEMI E183 – Specification for Rich Interactive Test Database (RITdb), which defines a data and event sharing and streaming methodology.

The anticipation of semiconductor industry growth toward the $1 trillion revenue milestone generated excitement at the CEO Summit. SEMI Europe President Laith Altimime welcomed the industry’s recognition of the importance of responsible growth, emphasizing commitment to net zero.

To strengthen continuity across the entire value chain and support semiconductor industry growth, SEMI launched the Supply Chain Management Initiative in early 2023 and has established an Industry Advisory Council that includes industry leaders and strategic partners such as Genpact and Resilinc.

As a speaker on the Bridging the Gender Gap Through Allyship panel, I shared my perspectives on how we can increase the ranks of women in the chip industry and heard from fellow advocates.
