The SEMI Europe Standards Awards will be presented during SEMICON Europa (November 12-15, 2019) in Munich, Germany. Award winners will be recognized for their contribution to the industry and the SEMI International Standards program. This is SEMI Europe’s chance to officially recognize standards volunteers for their extraordinary contributions to the industry through the development of standards.

Award winners will be recognized for their contribution to the SEMI International Standards program in any one of the five following categories Merit Award, Honor Award, Leadership Award, Standards Corporate Membership Award, and International Collaboration Award. Award Descriptions:
The Merit Award is presented to a Standards Member for making a major contribution to the semiconductor industry through the SEMI Standards Program. Usually, this member has taken on a very complex problem at the task force level, gained industry support, and driven the project to completion.
The Leadership Award is presented to a Standards Member who has strengthened the SEMI Standards Program through member training, mentoring, and new member recruitment. This individual plays a critical role in transforming new volunteers into productive committee contributors, effectively guiding them through the standardization process and minimizing wasted efforts.
The Honor Award is presented to a Standards Member who has demonstrated long-standing dedication to the advancement of the SEMI Standards Program. This award is given to a member who has served the program consistently and effectively for many years.
The Corporate Device Member Award is presented to a Standards Member from a device manufacturer for outstanding contributions to the development of SEMI Standards. This award recognizes a member who has actively promoted the SEMI Standards Program among the device community.
The International Collaboration Award is given to a Standards Member who has actively worked to establish substantial international cooperation within the SEMI Standards Program.
