Siltronic is one of the world´s leading manufacturer of hyperpure silicon wafers, supplying a large number of leading chip manufacturers. We develop and produce wafers with diameters up to 300 mm at facilities in Europe, the USA, Asia and Japan. Wafers made from hyperpure silicon form the basis of state-of-the-art micro-electronics. They are used in computers, mobile phones, DVD players, navigation systems, airbags, magnetic resonance tomographs and aircraft controls, to name but a few.
