National Taiwan University High-Tech Facility Research Center

Enhancing wafer fab facility capabilities is key to the future development of high-tech manufacturing. As a major global hub for semiconductor production, Taiwan has led the high-tech industry for years and now faces the need to advance its engineering and management technologies for high-tech facilities. To continuously and diversely promote the development of such technologies, the Taiwan High-Tech Facility Association was established in Hsinchu on December 17, 2021. The association aims to strengthen Taiwan’s capabilities by fostering collaboration among manufacturers, equipment and material suppliers, academia, producers, architects, design consultants, builders, and facility operation and maintenance experts. It will continue to support Taiwanese companies in participating in international technical standards, promoting the growth of the high-tech sector, and maintaining Taiwan’s global competitiveness in the wafer fab facility industry.

提升晶圓廠設施能力是高科技製造業未來發展的關鍵。身為全球半導體生產的主要樞紐，台灣在高科技產業領域已領導多年，如今面臨高科技設施工程與管理技術的進步需求。為持續且多元化地推動此類技術的發展，台灣高科技設施協會於 2021 年 12 月 17 日在新竹成立。該協會旨在透過促進製造商、設備和材料供應商、學術界、生產商、建築師、設計顧問、建築商以及設施運營和維護專家之間的合作，增強台灣的實力。協會將持續支持台灣企業參與國際技術標準，促進高科技產業的成長，並維持台灣在晶圓廠設施產業的全球競爭力。
