JERA, the joint venture between 2 major power companies in Japan: TEPCO FP and Chubu Electric Power Company, is a world-leading electric utility. JERA participates in the ownership of power generation assets with a total capacity of 75GW and 8 LNG receiving terminals. In Taiwan, JERA has had a close relationship with TPC across 3IPPs with around 2GW in capacity for over decade. In 2019, JERA Energy Taiwan is established and we participated in Formosa I offshore wind project: the first commercial scale offshore wind power generation facility in Taiwan. Through our global operations, JERA brings the world’s leading energy solution to Taiwan.
