Intercontinental Wind Energy (IWE) aims to become an onshore manufacturing giant and a pillar of offshore wind power. IWE's products focus on offshore wind foundations and floaters. Each offshore foundation weighs several thousand tons and is nearly 90 meters high, resembling tall and sturdy giants when standing on land. When installed and operating at sea, the company hopes to provide a continuous stream of energy business opportunities for generations to come in Taiwan. IWE is located in the Kaohsiung Intercontinental Port Phase I Port 2. It’s company’s name was taken from the homonym of the Kaohsiung Intercontinental Port and also to regard itself as "the giant of turning sea to gold."IWE leases a total land area of 20 hectares at Kaohsiung Intercontinental Port Phase I, land A6, which is equipped with a deep-water harbor and hinterland for product assembly and storage. IWE targets the global market, aiming to deliver Taiwanese explicit experience and fine products globally.
