CSBC-DEME Wind Engineering Co. Ltd. (CDWE) is Taiwan’s pioneering OWF T&I contractor, a pillar of localization and a driving force for Taiwan’s offshore wind industry and its engineering capability. CDWE combines the knowledge and experience of its shareholders: CSBC Corporation Taiwan - Taiwan’s largest shipyard, constructing vessels for the marine engineering industry for the past 50 years, and DEME Offshore, a world leader in the highly specialized fields of offshore energy, dredging, marine infrastructure, and environmental works with unmatched track record worldwide. CDWE leverages the extensive experience of its shareholders to deliver world-class transport and installation services including foundations, turbines, and offshore substations to offshore wind farms in Taiwan. As a pioneer in Taiwan’s offshore wind energy sector, CDWE introduced the first-of-kind main installation vessel in 2023 – Green Jade, an offshore heavy-lift DP3 installation vessel designed and built in CSBC’s shipyard in Kaohsiung, setting new industry benchmarks in offshore windfarm construction with its outstanding workability.
