Claire McAdams has 25 years of experience advising executives and boards in all matters related to the capital markets, including corporate finance, fundraising and capital allocation strategies, strategic financial communications, and mergers and acquisitions. The majority of her career has been dedicated to the global semiconductor manufacturing industry, with long-term clients such as Nanometrics, Ichor, and MKS Instruments. For years, McAdams was a leading senior investment banker and head of her firm’s semiconductor manufacturing practice, advising on and executing financings and M&A around the globe. To date Claire has advised on over 50 financings and M&A transactions totaling nearly $10 billion. Since founding Headgate Partners in 2005, McAdams has held long-term assignments with a select group of capital equipment companies, providing trusted and objective executive advisory counsel focused on increasing shareholder value, working closely with management and boards of directors across the spectrum: from investor interface strategy and execution, to advising on capital formation and allocation decisions. In 2009 she founded the CEO Summit, which has grown into the largest and most successful investor forum for small- and micro-cap companies in the semiconductor manufacturing industry. McAdams holds a BA in Economics and Literature, with honors, from Claremont McKenna College.
