Technical Requirements
Please review presentation and audiovisual guidelines below as you prepare for your presentation at ITPC.
Audio Visual Setup
- AV technicians will be available to assist during conference. The technicians will be running the presentation laptop from the tech station located on the side of the ballroom.
- Speakers will have the ability to advance presentation slides remotely.
- Speaker presentations will be uploaded ahead of time on the conference laptop for a smoother flow between presentations. It is important and much appreciated that we receive your presentations by the deadline date.
- If you prefer to use your own laptop, please let us know in advance.
- AV technicians will provide a lavaliere microphone shortly before your session. A podium microphone will also be available.
- We highly recommend testing your presentation on-site. The ballroom will be available for rehearsals on Sunday, November 1 (afternoon). Please contact Taylor Zhao if you would like to schedule a rehearsal time.
Confidence Monitor
- A confidence monitor will display your slides at the podium.
- Important: Please advise ahead on time if you plan to use or view PPT Notes on the confidence monitor. You will need to add your notes to the same PPT deck and not as a separate deck. As a guideline, please use at least 40-point size font for your notes.
- To help us stay on time, there will be a presentation/speaker timer located downstage.
PPT Presentation Template
- Speakers are welcome to use company PPT template.
Presentation Format
- Please prepare your PowerPoint in 16 x 9 ratio.
- A member of the ITPC committee will be assigned to offer guidance or answer any questions you might have about your presentation content.
- Commercial content on the presentation is discouraged.
Videos
- If you plan to show videos with your presentation, please let us know ahead of time and please send separate file of the videos. We recommend embedding videos directly into your presentation.
- If videos are not embedded, include hidden “video spacer” slides to indicate timing for the AV team (these will not appear during your live session).
- We highly recommend testing your video on-site. The ballroom will be available for rehearsals on Sunday, November 1 (afternoon). Please contact Taylor Zhao if you would like to schedule a rehearsal time.
Other Technical Requirements
