Quantum Semiconductor LLC

Quantum Semiconductor LLC is a fabless semiconductor company developing new Group-IV materials and devices that can revolutionize what silicon can do with light, enabling light emission and absorption with efficiencies comparable to III-V semiconductors. The materials include atomic-layer engineered Group-IV superlattices (C, Si, Ge, Sn, Pb) which can be monolithically integrated with CMOS, and SiGeC photodiodes that demonstrate high gain, without amplification of noise, at low voltage. Applications include image sensing, optoelectronics including LEDs and LASERs, LIDAR for autonomous vehicles, and quantum photonics.
