The SEMI Foundation Excellence in Achievement Award recognizes and celebrates individuals at SEMI member companies who have made significant contributions to the global microelectronics industry and to society in the areas of workforce development and a culture of belonging. The Award honors individuals who show outstanding leadership in the industry and in their community, and individuals who successfully promote creative ways to improve workforce development, expand workplace culture and build lasting value in the industry and their community.

Nominees in this annual award will include industry members who are beacons of knowledge, leaders of organizations and initiatives, hidden heroes and innovators in microelectronics. They are volunteers, protectors, intellectual disruptors and activists. ​The Award acknowledges the role supporting all talent in developing greater creativity, innovation and success.

Nominations must be received no later than 1 August 2025. The award is scheduled for presentation on the keynote stage at SEMICON West.

Who will you nominate?

Do you know someone who is been a leader in workforce development or promoting a culture of belonging? Has this person shown leadership through Innovating, Volunteering, Mentoring, Sponsoring, Leading through Values, or Technology? Those who nominated someone for the award will be informed of status by early September. The award will be presented on the keynote stage at SEMICON West.
