Mark Blythe joined Kokusai Semiconductor Equipment Corporation in the year 2000 as Regional Sales Manager and was quickly promoted to Vice President of Sales & Marketing. After working to grow Kokusai’s batch thermal market to a majority share in the US during the ensuing 10 years, Mark was assigned as Managing Director of Kokusai’s European Affiliate in 2011. Upon return to the US in 2014 Mark was promoted to Chief Technology Officer, then Chief Marketing Officer in 2019. Mark’s main focus throughout his career has been working together with Customers & Partners to develop innovative technology solutions to meet industry roadmap challenges.
Prior to Mark’s tenure with Kokusai, he worked as an Epi Equipment & Process Engineer, Applications Engineer, Engineering Manager & Operations Director for Mitsubishi Silicon & Crysteco in the Silicon Wafer Manufacturing segment of the industry. Mark currently serves as Executive Sponsor to Kokusai’s U.S. Women’s Employee Resource Group and promotes the value of diversity, equity, and inclusion to both industry and society.
