Cees Draijer, PhD, Teledyne Imaging

Cornelis (Cees) Draijer BBA, MSc, PhD, is Business Line Director of the Uncooled IR business since March 2019.

Prior to that, he was Senior Program Manager at Teledyne DALSA Digital Imaging since April 2010 responsible for the Microbolometer R&D program and prior to that Technical Marketing Manager Teledyne DALSA’s Custom Development group since 2007.

Cees joined the Image Sensor group of Philips Research in 1997, first as Researcher and later as R&D Project Leader, mainly focusing on Charged Coupled Devices (CCD) imagers. During this time, he has authored and co-authored more than 15 technical papers and holds several patents in the imaging field.

Cees holds a Master degree in Solid State Physics from the Eindhoven University of Technology, as well as a PhD in Innovation Studies from the Eindhoven University of Technology, with a dissertation about managing Technology Development as a prerequisite to Product Development.
