Paul Burlingame was appointed President & Chief Executive Officer of Air Liquide Advanced Materials in October 2013. Air Liquide Advanced Materials was formed under Mr. Burlingame’s leadership when specialty chemical manufacturer Voltaix was acquired by Air Liquide and merged with the ALOHA business line in 2013.
Mr. Burlingame joined Air Liquide in 2008 as part of Air Liquide’s acquisition of the BOC Edwards Chemical Management Division where he served as Global Business Manager. Subsequently he served in a series of leadership roles including Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Operations and Products at Micro Component Technology.
Mr. Burlingame began his career as a Nuclear Submarine Officer in the U.S. Navy based in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
Mr. Burlingame is a graduate of the University of Virginia and the U.S. Navy Officer Nuclear Power Program.
