Douglas Finkle, GLOBALFOUNDRIES

Prior to joining GLOBALFOUNDRIES in 2015 from IBM Microelectronics Doug had over 10 years of experience in systems engineering and process control automation. While at IBM, he supported Fab 10’s Argus APC lithography process control automation, and helped the Fab grow its Fab e-diagnostic system.

In his role at GLOBALFOUNDRIES, Doug has taken the lead in Fab e-diagnostics, creating and introducing standardized processes for Customer Service Management for Trade and IT Compliance,  and for Remote Tool Operation (RTO) safety. Doug’s relationship management with Telit has driven key product enhancements including changes important to GF Trade Compliance and IT security.

Most recently, Doug has repurposed the company’s e-diagnostic solution by developing and launching a new IT service within GLOBALFOUNDRIES that is serving a critical role in establishing new IT security standards across the enterprise.

Doug holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. His hobbies include sport fishing, high-performance driving, and gardening.
