BIOGRAPHY
Jean Richaud is the founder and managing partner at Conation Technologies LLC since 2007. With its office in Austin TX (since 2020), Conation Technologies LLC has been one of the main suppliers of second-hand refurbished metrology equipment over the years, with prime focus on defect detection and inspection tools, buying also buying and reselling most front-end manufacturing equipment. Conation Technologies has sold several hundred pieces of refurbished equipment over the years and to several end users and third around the world. Jean holds responsibilities from equipment purchasing, project valuations, refurbishment management.
Alternatively, to those functions, Jean helps as a consultant, fab owners and banks, on equipment review, equipment valuation, equipment depreciation to correctly assess their assets and market values. Prior Conation in the early 2000's, Jean was a partner in a similar company, including contract positions at some the world largest IDM, OEM, and suppliers of the industry.
With more than 25 years of experience in the industry, Jean's experiences include fab construction management positions, planning, scheduling, establishing budgets, as well as fab relocation, decommissioning, and equipment refurbishment.
