Scope 3 emissions

The Semiconductor Climate Consortium has released its first alignment document with recommendations for calculating Scope 3 Category 1 (Purchased Goods and Services) – a substantial portion of Scope 3 emissions for most companies.

To accelerate efforts to reduce the climate impact of the semiconductor value chain, SEMI members from the equipment, materials and service sectors, as well as several device manufacturers are forming the Semiconductor Climate Consortium (SCC).
