BIOGRAPHY
Toru Kimura is currently a Senior Officer, Supervising the Digital Solution Business (deputy) & General Manager of the Electronic Materials Division at JSR Corporation overseeing the Fine Electronic Materials Development Center, Quality Inspection and relevant JSR subsidiaries worldwide. His additional responsibilities include serving as General Manager of Advanced Lithography Material Business Promotion Dept., in Electronic Materials Div, Representative of JSR Electronic Materials Korea and Chairman of the Board of JSR Electronic Materials Shanghai. Toru joined JSR in 1997 with a master’s degree in Electronic Chemistry from Tokyo Institute of Technology and has vast knowledge and experience in electronic materials R&D leading JSR’s Yokkaichi, Japan-based R&D Center. He also lived in Belgium where he worked closely with imec for several years. Through his strong vision and leadership, Toru became CTO of JSR Corporation in 2020 and was assigned to lead the integration and EUV expansion efforts of JSR acquired Inpria Corporation, a world leader in metal oxide photoresist design, development and manufacturing for extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography in Corvallis, Oregon in 2021. Toru is co-inventor on more than 35 patents.
