BIOGRAPHY

Scott leads the DuPont Sustainability Team, which includes Community Impact and Corporate Product Stewardship & Regulatory. He chairs DuPont's cross-functional Sustainability Leadership Council and works closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on DuPont’s 2030 Sustainability Goals and to advance DuPont's strategy as a premier multi-industrial company and an investment partner and employer of choice.
Scott brings a strong track record of delivering breakthrough process and product innovation and sustainability initiatives to market. Prior to this role, he was Vice President of Technology for DuPont's former Mobility & Materials (M&M) business where he led research, development, technical service, and product stewardship. Scott led a team of 800+ technology employees in multiple locations around the world focused on developing innovative technology in engineering plastics and other highly engineered materials for demanding applications in the automotive, electrical/electronic, industrial, consumer and healthcare markets.
Prior to joining DuPont, Scott joined Dow in 1989 holding several key positions in research and development. During his time at the company, he served as collaborative partner and leader driving several initiatives for Dow’s businesses.
Outside of DuPont, Scott is co-chair of the National Academy of Science, Engineering and Medicines (NASEM) Board on Chemical Sciences and Technology (BCST) and is a certified six sigma black belt and licensed professional engineer. He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Michigan Technological University and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Central Michigan University.
