BIOGRAPHY
Mahendra B. Dorairaj is the Division President of CASE. Prior to this role, Mahendra served as the Vice President for both Adhesives and Specialty Fluids & Energy (SFE) businesses at Eastman Chemical Company. He also served as the GM of Adhesives separately and successively.
Mahendra joined Eastman in 2015 as Director of Corporate Strategy. He was responsible for the business unit strategy development and strategic initiatives for the Company’s Additives & Functional Products and Advanced Materials segments.
Prior to Eastman, Mahendra was at Celanese where he held several different roles including leading Corporate Strategic Marketing capability build for the CMO, Global Sales Strategy for the Head of Global Sales and Business leadership of Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA) business unit as Global Product Director. His work experience prior to Celanese includes, serving as Head of Sales Strategy for Clear Channel Media, and roles of increasing responsibilities at The Boston Consulting Group and France Telecom.
Mahendra received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Materials Science from University of Delaware and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Mahendra reports to Travis Smith, SVP, Additives & Functional Products and Chemical Intermediates.
