Tammy is co-head of Technology Investment Banking within the Technology, Media and Telecom Group. Previously, she served as global head of the Semiconductor practice starting in 2006 and the Autotech practice starting in 2017. Tammy is an investment champion for Launch With GS, Goldman Sachs’ $500 million commitment to invest in companies and investment managers with diverse leadership. During her tenure at the firm, she has worked with a variety of companies on numerous financings as well as mergers and acquisitions. She joined Goldman Sachs in 1999 in the Technology Investment Banking Group. Tammy became a vice president in 2002 and was named managing director in 2007 and partner in 2014. Prior to joining the firm, Tammy worked at KPMG as a CPA in the Information, Communications, and Entertainment practice. She provided assurance services to technology companies, with a particular focus on semiconductor and hardware companies.
Tammy serves on the Greater Bay Area chapter of the American Heart Association, is a member of the Dean's Advisory Council at the Orfalea College of Business at the California Polytechnic State University, and serves on the Board of Regents for Junipero Serra High School in San Mateo. Tammy earned a BS in Business Administration, summa cum laude from the California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California, in 1993. She earned an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where she was an Arjay Miller Scholar, in 1999.
