Joannie Fu is the chief of staff for Intel’s Custom Logic Engineering group. She partners with Engineering VPs as a trusted senior advisor to turn vision into action and set the strategic directions, drive executive communications, and oversee operations for an org that spans architecture, hardware, software, IP, manufacturing, and quality engineering which delivered multi-billion revenue last year within Intel’s FPGA, Structured ASIC, and Custom ASIC business. During her tenure with Intel, Joannie has worked in various divisions that gave her both depth and breadth of semiconductor business and technology industry including Data Center Silicon Photonics R&D product development and manufacturing, Technology & Manufacturing Group supply chain for four different fabrication plants, Information Technology Group where she deployed B2B programs connecting Intel with Suppliers. Along the way, she has founded two chapters of Intel’s LGBT+ employee resource group - she actively sponsors and leads key diversity & inclusion programs. Joannie was named as the Intel Working Mother of the Year in 2019 and was recognized as Intel Inclusive Leader of the Year (the highest D&I honor at Intel) for her contribution and positive impact both within and outside of Intel. Joannie holds dual MBAs from the University of California, Irvine, and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and a Bachelor of Architecture degree in Structural Engineering from California Polytechnic University, Pomona.
