TOKYO — October 26, 2026 — SEMI today announced the 50th edition of SEMICON Japan will take place from December 9-11 at Tokyo Big Sight. Under the theme “Semiconductors: The Past 50 Years and the Next 50,” SEMICON Japan 2026 will feature more than 70 sessions and 300 speakers who will reflect on the industry’s evolution while introducing new initiatives to guide the next 50 years. Registration is open.
“We’ve reached a critical point in the semiconductor industry where design, fab, advanced packaging, assembly, test, and inspection solutions are forced to keep up with skyrocketing demand for AI and other cutting-edge technologies,” said Jim Hamajima, President, SEMI Japan. “As SEMICON Japan marks its 50th edition and kicks off the celebration of five decades of contribution to the semiconductor industry, this event will offer a forum for evaluating the opportunities and challenges that come with such demand, while also assessing the most successful business strategies of the last 50 years. We look forward to convening the industry to celebrate this milestone together.”
