MILPITAS, Calif. — March 9, 2026 — Industry leaders across the global MEMS and sensors ecosystem will convene March 31–April 2 at the MEMS & Sensors Executive Congress (MSEC 2026) at the Hyatt Regency Boston/Cambridge in Cambridge, Mass. for a deep dive into the technologies, market forces, and strategic sensor innovations shaping the decade ahead. The conference will spotlight emerging sensor opportunities across automotive, industrial, consumer, aerospace, healthcare, and intelligent systems markets. Registration is open.
“Boston and Cambridge—home to world‑class universities, pioneering research labs, and a vibrant innovation ecosystem—provide an ideal environment for industry leaders to collaborate, exchange insights, and explore breakthroughs in microelectronics, MEMS, and sensor technologies,” said Paul Carey, Director of the SEMI MEMS & Sensors Industry Group (MSIG). “With nearby academic institutions and companies such as MIT, Harvard, Analog Devices, and Draper, along with a thriving startup community, the region brings unmatched depth in advanced engineering and applied science. The conference will highlight New England’s significant contributions to the global MEMS and sensors industry while fostering connections that drive future innovation.”
Hosted by the MEMS & Sensors Industry Group, a SEMI Technology Community, MSEC 2026 programming will focus on the theme Sensorizing the Future: MEMS and Sensors at the Edge of Perception. The program will feature keynotes on AI driven human–machine interfaces, next-generation sensor analytics, and sensors for robotics along with sessions on global market trends, cutting-edge MEMS manufacturing, leadership insights, venture investment, and advancements in Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT). The event will kick off with a team building networking event related to Boston’s historical charm, followed by the MSEC 2026 welcome reception.
“Massachusetts is a powerhouse for deep‑tech innovation, and we are thrilled to see the MEMS & Sensors Executive Congress convene within one of the most dynamic technology corridors in the world,” said keynote speaker Kieran Harney, CEO of sensiBel. “The Greater Boston area has long been at the forefront of breakthroughs in semiconductors, photonics, robotics, and biomedical engineering. Hosting MSEC here underscores our collective commitment to accelerating next‑generation technologies and strengthening the region’s role as a global hub for advanced sensor development. Together with industry, academic, and government partners, we look forward to advancing the innovations that will shape the future of intelligent systems.”
