BIOGRAPHY

Tina GuldbergTina Guldberg joined the University of Oregon in September 2018 and serves as associate vice president for economic development and strategic relations. In this leadership role, she advances high‑impact strategies that strengthen the university’s external partnerships, research enterprise, and long-term economic influence. Tina leads efforts to align UO’s academic and innovation assets with industry, government, and community priorities, driving workforce development, applied research collaborations, and innovation-led growth across the state.

She brings deep experience spanning industry and higher education, including roles as a product development engineer at Ford Motor Company and a research engineer at Georgia Tech. Tina spent 15 years as associate director of the Georgia Tech Manufacturing Institute, where she built and scaled strategic partnerships that accelerated institutional growth. She holds an engineering degree from the University of Michigan and serves on the executive committee and board of directors of the Oregon Life Sciences Association, as well as the board of the Sacred Heart Peace Health Foundation.
