Sandy Chapin is currently the Director of Operations for SEMI Americas. Chapin has been producing events for more than thirty years in the non-profit and private business sectors. She has held various management positions and have led event development and strategy including event launches and event repositioning. Chapin has managed teams that are responsible for executing the events. This includes the exhibit and sponsorship sales teams, the marketing team, conference production and operations/logistics. She currently has the direct responsibility for P&L of events, leading the development and execution of strategy, in addition to day-to-day responsibility of staff management and cross-functional project leadership. She is an active volunteer and serves on trade show industry boards.
