
BIOGRAPHY
Over the course of his career, Dr. Hans Stork has led international, diverse teams in semiconductor development with success in advanced CMOS, image sensors, and discrete power devices. He aspires to identify, develop and commercialize leading edge technologies.
As Chief Technology Officer at Onsemi, and earlier TI, Hans led development and deployment of advanced technologies across the front and back ends of process integration. For Onsemi, he built a strategic focus on wide bandgap devices for high power applications and the foundation technology for their Treo platform.
He has built a distinguished record of accomplishment during a 40+-year career including Onsemi, Applied Materials, Texas Instruments, Hewlett Packard and IBM. As a respected leader and technologist, adept at seeing the big picture, he is committed to achieving measurable business results.
Born in Soest, The Netherlands, Hans received Bachelors and Ingenieur degrees in Electrical Engineering from Delft University in the Netherlands and his PhD in Electrical Engineering from Stanford.
Dr. Stork is an external board member at Rapidus, and a member of the Scientific Advisory board at IMEC. He was a member of the supervisory board of ASML and has served on the boards of Sematech and the SRC. He was also a longstanding member of the SIA CTO Working Group as well as a member of the Board of Industry Leaders at SEMI.
An accomplished technologist, he has authored more than 100 cited papers and holds 11 U.S. patents. He was elected IEEE Fellow in 1994 and has served on numerous IEEE conference and program committees, including as Vice Chair of the Technical Field Awards.
