Mr. Jan Thomas Nicholas

Executive Director, Tech Sector Leader, Southeast Asia, Semiconductor Consulting Leader, Southeast Asia, Deloitte Consulting (SEA) Sdn. Bhd.

Jan Nicholas leads Deloitte’s semiconductor industry consulting practice in Southeast Asia, and serves as Deloitte’s Asia Pacific semiconductor leader, as well as leading Deloitte’s newly-launched Penang consulting office.
Jan has over 25 years of experience in industry and consulting, leading projects in strategy, operations, new product and process development, and supply chain across Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Mainland China, Taiwan, Korea, North America, and the Middle East.
Prior to joining Deloitte in Southeast Asia, he led the supply chain and operations consulting team for a rival Big Four consulting firm in Hong Kong, as well as holding various operations and engineering roles in industry, including work in thin films process development, wafer fab manufacturing engineering, optical metrology, defect reduction, and supply chain planning.
Jan holds a Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering from Penn State and an MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management.
