Mr Bach Hung Truong

Leader, GIZ’s Programme Reform of TVET in Vietnam

Mr Bach Hung Truong is the team leader of the Vietnamese-German Development Cooperation "Programme Reform of Technical and Vocational Education and Training in Viet Nam", which is financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) together with the Vietnamese Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs.

In the previous years, Mr Truong managed the component "Supporting High-Quality Colleges". He coordinated developing and implementing German standard-oriented training programmes for industrial occupations, including mechatronics and industrial electronics, at the partner colleges and in cooperation with the business sector. 

Before joining GIZ in 2006, Mr Truong was a lecturer at Hung Yen University of Technology and Education and was responsible for electronic circuit engineering and microcontrollers.   

Mr Truong earned a Master of Science from Paris-Sub 11 University, France, and a Bachelor of Science in Electronics from Ha Noi University of Science and Technology, Vietnam.
