Vehicles will be Much Safer than Ever with Semiconductor and Software 半導体とソフトウエアが車を更に安全にする

With the development of semiconductors and software, technology and business growth principles have fundamentally changed since 2010. After 2020, the use of deep learning will change the world. A typical example is autonomous driving, followed by combining all moving objects (cars and railways, buses, bicycles, scooters, etc.) on the cloud to optimize the movement of people, parcels, and even energy (=MaaS) appears. I would like to talk about the background of this situation and the future.

半導体とソフトウエアの発達により、2010年以降、技術とビジネスの成長原理が根本的に変わった。2020年以降はディープラーニングの利用が世の中を変える。その変化の代表例として自動運転があり、その先にあらゆる移動体（自動車と鉄道、バス、自転車やスクーター等）をクラウド上で組み合わせ、人や物、更にはエネルギーの移動を最適化するMaaS (Mobility as a Service)が出現する。こうした状況が起こった背景と今後のお話しさせて頂く。
