SEMI Standards provide for unique device identification through the IC manufacturing, test and assembly process, all of the way to the final system, as required by many applications.  These standards provide a solution for previous unwillingness to share device information which hindered end-to-end traceability critical to performance or failure analysis.  Explore published standards as well as activity still underway

6448 – Specification for Equipment & Materials Label

• Establishes specification for communicating part quality
• Provides standardized scalable electronic Information Exchange templates
  by commodity – eCOC/ECOA Templates
