Pratik Joshi, Samsung

Pratik P. Joshi, PhD is Sr. Technical Staff Member, Fab Engineering at Samsung Austin Semiconductor. He has worked in the semiconductor industry for over 14 years. His expertise is in thin film development, characterization and semiconductor process integration. His career experience is comprised of positions with IBM T. J. Watson Research Labs, IBM East Fishkill and Samsung Austin Semiconductor (SAS). He has 15+ publications and 9 patents in semiconductor, solar cell and nanoscale engineering research including carbon nanotubes. In his current role, Pratik is responsible for FAB wide defect reduction and productivity improvement efforts across Fab Engineering. In addition, he is also serving as a chairman of the SAS patent review committee, a committee member for ASMC, and on the advisory board for Texas A&M University, Materials Science Department. He has also served on Executive Committee for the Cedar Ridge High School STEM program in Austin, TX.
