Ilya Zabelinsky is a globally recognized technical leader with nearly 30 years of experience in vacuum and gas abatement applications for semiconductor manufacturing. Ilya joined Intel in 1996 in early days of a greenfield construction of Israel’s first 200 mm FAB. Through his 26 years of service at Intel, he emerged as an operational and technical leader across Intel SubFABs worldwide, highlighting the critical role of SubFAB in manufacturing success. His career is marked by breakthrough improvements, optimized workflows, seamless integration of new equipment, strategic supplier partnerships, and the establishment of robust operational standards.
In 2022, Ilya founded the International SubFAB Research Labs (ISRL) to bring both – fundamental and hand-on science to SubFAB R&D. ISRL serves as a practical R&D hub for sustainable process development, rapid prototyping, and collaborative research, poised for global expansion near leading semiconductor clusters.
He holds a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering and possesses broad knowledge and vast practical experience in semiconductor manufacturing processes, FAB equipment, central facilities, and infrastructure
