Nobu Koshiba is representative director and chairman of the board of JSR Corporation.  Prior to his appointment as president in 2009, Mr. Koshiba held various technical and executive positions at JSR (founded as Japan Synthetic Rubber Company) for 30 years.  Over the years, he held a variety of increasingly responsible positions ranging from R&D and development positions to directing the Fine Chemicals Sector and Electronics Materials division.

Mr. Koshiba has an MS and a BS in Printing Engineering from Chiba University.  He also attended classes at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Wisconsin (Madison).
