Mike Guttman_Micron

Mike Guttman is a program manager on the Workforce Strategies team at Micron Technology, Inc., based at the Manassas, Virginia, site. In this role, he is responsible for developing the pipeline for future talent on the East Coast. He collaborates closely with community colleges, technical colleges, and high school CTE programs to advise and develop curricula, while also serving on numerous industry advisory boards. Additionally, he manages the technician internship program at the Manassas site.

With two decades of experience in technical and engineering roles, Mike has specialized in electro-mechanical equipment within the semiconductor and military sectors. His technical expertise encompasses the development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex electromechanical systems. He has led numerous projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and reliability and has been instrumental in implementing advanced manufacturing processes and technologies. Mike's extensive program management experience includes talent attraction and retention, cost management, and new facility construction, making him a valuable asset in his current role.

Mike is also dedicated to supporting veterans, actively engaging with veterans within Micron and the community to promote veteran causes. He holds a Six Sigma Lean Green Belt certification and is a Certified Military Veteran Recruiter. His educational background includes a certificate in communication electronics from Sauk Valley Community College and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Technical Studies from Excelsior College in Albany, New York. In his spare time, Mike enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, and attending airshows.
