Recent Advances in MEMS Modeling and System Engineering 

ABSTRACT

Engineering of MEMS gyros continuously reveals new challenges. The presentation addresses product demands and recent advances on engineering aspects like cross axis sensitivity, bias instability, novel test concept, and application of machine learning.


BIOGRAPHY

Stefan Leidich

Stefan Leidich received the diploma degree in electrical engineering in 2005 and the doctoral degree in 2010 from the Chemnitz University of Technology. After postdoctoral work at the Fraunhofer Institute for Electronic Nano Systems, he joined the Corporate Sector Research and Advance Engineering of the Robert Bosch GmbH in 2011. From 2015 to 2022 he was senior manager of the Sensor Design and System Engineering group. Since 2022 he is Director of Engineering Advanced Sensor Concepts at the semiconductor division of the Robert Bosch GmbH. The topics of his department are system architectures and system engineering for MEMS sensors, application of data science and Big Data techniques for engineering, embedded SW development and technology management.
