BIOGRAPHY
Aarne Oja is the CEO of See Through Solutions, a company he founded in 2022 to commercialize THz camera technology based on passive thermal imaging using cooled bolometers. During 2016-2019, Oja was the CEO and co-founder of Tikitin Ltd, a company targeting to replace quartz resonators with silicon-based MEMS resonators in timing applications. The company was acquired by Kyocera Corporation. After the transaction, Oja worked as the Chief Innovation Officer of Kyocera Tikitin during 2019 - 2022. Before becoming an entrepreneur, Oja worked in several different positions at the VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland such as Research Professor of sensor technology and Vice President of strategic research in microelectronics. Aarne Oja received a Ph.D degree in physics from the Helsinki University of Technology in 1988.
