High Accuracy Gesture Detection Using Standard IMU Sensors

ABSTRACT

With the launch of Apple Vision Pro, hand-based gestures have become a standard way to input to a new category of spatial products. To enable this shift in computing, Doublepoint has created highly accurate gesture detection software using only IMU sensors from off-the-shelf wearables such as smart watches. Doublepoint's CEO Ohto Pentikäinen opens up how this technology can be used to create extremely intuitive gesture-based user interfaces.
