Dave Sovie leads Accenture’s Global High Tech Industry practice. In this capacity, Dave leads a team of experienced industry-specialized professionals who design and deliver digital transformation services across the product innovation, engineering, manufacturing and product support business functions. His focus is on shaping and executing large-scale transformation programs for leading technology companies globally.
Dave is a frequent speaker on high tech industry trends and the author of the book “Reinventing the Product” which looks at ways traditional products are transforming into smart connected products and ecosystem platforms at a rate much faster than most organizations think. His book makes a stringent case for companies to rethink their product strategy, their innovation and engineering processes, and the entire culture to build future generations of successful “living products”. Dave has over 25 years of experience in the high tech industry, including working with clients in the enterprise computing, consumer technology, and semiconductor sectors. Having worked in over 20 countries, Dave has deep global industry-specific expertise.
Before joining Accenture in 2010, Dave was the global high tech practice leader for Oliver Wyman. Dave has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a MBA from Harvard Business School.
