Buddy Nicoson is senior vice president of global front-end operations at Micron Technology.
Mr. Nicoson joined Micron in 2015 as the site director at Micron’s Manassas, Virginia, Fab 6 and took on the role of site director at Micron Technology Japan in 2016. He was appointed to vice president front-end manufacturing in 2017 and promoted to senior vice president global front-end operations in 2018.
Mr. Nicoson is a 30-year veteran of the semiconductor industry. Prior to joining Micron, Mr. Nicoson had an 18-year career at Samsung, where he headed up various organizations within the company, including the manufacturing operations for Samsung Austin’s DRAM fab and all aspects of Samsung Austin’s manufacturing operations. Most recently, Mr. Nicoson had served as vice president of manufacturing for Samsung Austin. Prior to Samsung, he worked for Cypress Semiconductor and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD).
